My First Scalextric & Scalextric
The challenge was to revitalise the flagging sales of this, the 'way in' for very young children to experience some of the thrills and excitement of its big brother stablemate.
My usual ethos applies: keep things bold, don't overcomplicate the front of pack. The simple aim is just to get customers to pick it up and turn it over. Then the back of pack should continue the 'story', the experience, a little more.
And the design at the bottom? Go Ballistic's attempt at high-end styling for a limited edition, collectible set. Okay, it never made it into production, but I just like it!
